Before you begin sizing, make sure your nails are free of polish or any embellishments.

The perfect fit will be when the press on nail touches your nail from side to side WITHOUT touching your skin.

You want the nail to fit from sidewall to sidewall.

The press on nail is too small if it does not cover your natural nail from side to side.

If the nail is too small, it can cause the press on nail to pop off prematurely.

The press on is too big if it touches the skin past the sidewall of the nail.

Too big nails will not only not look natural, but it will have overlap onto your skin.

Note: If you are in between sizes, it is always best to measure up. You can always lightly file the edge of the nail to fit, but you can’t add any nail to the press on.

For example: If you are in between a 2 and a 3, use the 2 and lightly file the sidewall edge to fit your nail perfectly.
