Who am I?

Hello everyone! My name is Yaritza (Yari) and I am the CEO of Land of Yari Nails.

Here’s a little background about me: I am a single mom to 2 amazing kids, a daughter that is 20 and a son that is 7. I am an LPN and a Psychology student. I love to read and, of course, everything having to do with nails

My love of nails officially started, as far as I can remember, when I was 12. There was a store close to my house that used to sell press-on nails for $1. They were the cheapest, most horrible nails ever, but to me, they were the peak of luxury. I would buy them, paint them, and be so happy when I put them on. Granted, the sticky tabs used to last for like a day, but it was pure luxury for that day 😂.

As I continued to get older and had more responsibilities, I had less and less time to sit in a nail salon. Plus, I liked to change my nails often, and it became quite an expense. When I discovered luxury press-on nails, my life changed! The convenience of being able to change my nails in the comfort of my home was amazing. I didn’t have to stress about leaving my son at home for hours at a time just to get my nails done. I was able to do my nails once he fell asleep at night, or during his nap times. Of course, I used to buy nails at the drug store and on Amazon, but it was nothing compared to the high quality of luxury press-on nails, with the added bonus that I could reuse them.

After spending a whole lot of money on press-on nails, I thought to myself, “Why not make them for myself and perhaps one day sell them?” I was not the best at nail art, and I am still learning, but I have immensely enjoyed making my own luxury press-on nails. That’s when Land of Yari was born. I started this business to be able to offer luxury nails to those women, who like me, are so busy with life that they don’t have time to sit in a nail salon while life waits on the other end.
