Who am I?

Hello everyone! My name is Yaritza (Yari), and I’m the CEO and founder of Land of Yari Nails.

I’m a proud single mom to two amazing kids. I’m an LPN and a full student, so basically someone who wears many hats. I loves to read (fantasy novels for the win), and I love everything and anything having to do with nails.

My love for nails began when I was about 12. There was a little store near my house that sold press-on nails for $1. They were the cheapest, most horrible nails ever, but to me, they were the peak of luxury. I’d buy them, paint them, and feel so happy when I put them on. The sticky tabs barely lasted a day, but for that one day, I felt unstoppable.

As life got busier, I had less and less time to sit in a salon. Between work, school, and being a mom, spending hours getting my nails done just wasn’t realistic. I loved changing my nails often, but the cost and time didn’t always fit my schedule. I was also tired of the noise and disappointment walking out of the salon. Every time I looked down at my nails, I felt like they were rushed. The person doing my nails was constantly worried about how many clients she could get done, rather than the quality of my nails.

I started with store-bought and Amazon press-ons, but the quality was just not there. They would bend easily, and sometimes I needed more than one pair of the same size nail. If I wanted to wear the nails again, I had to repurchase the same ones because I couldn’t reuse the nails I had already worn.

Then, I discovered luxury press-on nails, and my world changed! I was able to order my exact sizes, no guessing, no hoping they would fit. I was able to reuse them after taking them off, and they were pretty much unbreakable. The quality was amazing compared to store-bought nails.

Being able to do my nails at home, on my own time, was amazing. No more waiting or rushing through appointments. I could do my nails after my son went to bed or during his nap. Quick, simple, and still luxurious. I was finally able to have a moment of quiet to pamper myself without having to worry about babysitters or being rushed out of a chair.

After having bought so many luxury press-on nails, I became an expert on what to expect. I learned how to apply them, how to remove them, how to reuse them.

Land of Yari Nails was born from someone that not only is a huge fan of luxury press-on nails (I will never go back tot he nail salon), but also has come to expect the highest qualities from my nails. Every set I create is made with the highest attention to detail and quality. Every single set goes out with my seal of approval, knowing that I would be proud to wear those nails.
